Tanisha has been serving her country as well as her community since 2001 when she joined the Army Reserves. Having served for four years in the Army Reserves, she decided to go active duty as a combat medic and serve yet another four years to her country. Tanisha has since gotten out the Army, and she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lamar University and currently works as a full-time volunteer for Elex Children’s Haven.
As the Founder, Elex would like to see our young adults move from crisis to independence. He is a disabled veteran of the United States Army having served over 14 years. Elex is currently working on his Bachelor of Science in Management, he has an Associate of Applied Science in Management and a Certification in Non-Profit Management; He is also a successful Certified Professional Life and Leadership Coach.
Angela is a former caseworker, case manager, and supervisor for Texas Child Protective Service as well as the private sector. She currently holds a Bachelor of Art in Psychology, Master in Public Administration, and Master of Art in Organizational Management.
Raven has 18 years of experience in Social Services, which includes investigative work with the State of Texas Child Protective Service. She has also had the privilege of holding a variety of positions while working with those diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. Raven worked diligently to earn a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Science in Psychology.
Pamela attended Prairie View A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She went on to obtain a Master of Education in Administration, in 2008. Over the last ten years, Pamela has had the privilege teaching as well as principal ship.
Nay has eleven years of experience as an educator, and now holds the position of Assistant Principal; she counts it a blessing to serve underprivileged children in low income neighborhoods. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and as well as a Master of Education in Administration.
