Helping people of Hurricane Harvey at

Harvest For Lost Souls Church

The purpose of our organization is to eradicate homelessness in the 20,000 youth that age out of foster care each year and equip them to deal with life's challenges. By providing these services, Elex Children's Haven helps to prepare these individuals for a successful transition into everyday living. The company wants to change the mindset of our communities one by one.

Nearly 40% of youth who age out of foster care ends up homeless.

Less than 3% will earn a college degree.

More than 60% of young women will be pregnant by age 21.

According to the Adoption and Foster Care Reporting System, in 2014 approximately 23,000 youth aged out of the foster care system after not being placed with families. Many of these youth are ill-equipped to deal with independent living, finding employment, assessing health care or continuing their education.
